The winter temperature may be somewhat lower but it will be clear again next February. Because of another cold wave in the first week of February. This may be the last cold wave of the current winter season. There is a chance of rain for two days before that.
Meteorologist Arif Hossain said Saturday morning that there was a chance of rain in late January. Another cold wave may blow in the first week of February after the rains. This may be the last cold wave in the current winter season. Then the temperature will continue to rise.
Arif Hossain also said that at present there is mild to moderate cold wave flowing in different areas of the country. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department predicted a moderate to dense fog in the country from midnight to dawn. Night temperatures may drop slightly throughout the country and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged.
The forecast also said that the sub-continental high pressure ball extended to West Bengal and adjoining areas. The usual low season temperatures are in the South Bay.
